Mature men can be very lucky. Some recent evidence I spotted to back this up was in an article about The Golden Girls who featured in the Bond films in the 60s and 70s. Undeniably there are changes in the women. For starters they wear more clothes in later life though to be fair the up to date photo is taken in the winter. Most of the Bond films are set on beautiful sunny beaches where scanty clothes or no clothes are the norm. James Bond always got the beautiful bird in the best locations. Tough job but someone has to do it. The four women pictured look content and full of vitality.
When young, these girls would have had the pick of the bunch of handsome men. Sean Connery was quite a looker and the other were pretty hot too. Imagine yourself being able to say to your friends at a party, ‘meet Jenny who was a Bond girl’. How a man would swell with pride. However, let’s come back to earth. The chances of hitching up with one of these gorgeous women is fairly remote. Fortunately there are still loads of women growing older gracefully and more importantly with vitality and a sense of humour.
Single women over 40 who are single are looking to have exciting times and to share the experiences with an adventurous and attractive man. In fact, there could indeed be a shortage of men to match up to all the stunning older women looking for love. Take up the challenge gents. See if you can find a special woman who thinks you are equally special. Leave the brylcreem at home and go ‘natural’ with a spring in your step.
Whatever anyone thinks of David Cameron’s politics, it cannot be denied that he is a Romantic. He said that his most memorable 24 hours are “getting married and the first night of his honeymoon“. He went on to say that he could remember it minute by minute. As it happens, he didn’t go into any detail as the press claimed. Being a mature and confident man he showed people how to be revealing and discreet at the same time.
Most of the over 40s have a firm idea of expectations when it come to new partners. With the choices that can be made through online dating searches, mature singles can afford to be discerning. Once settled into a long standing relationship in later life the very best way to ensure durability is to keep romance alive. This is a method David Cameron practices. It is obvious even without knowing him, that he and his wife have a deep love for each other. In their very busy lives they put aside a night out (or in) together to catch up and enjoy each others company. This is to be applauded and we should all do it. A glass of wine, some favourite food, some laughs and undivided attention to each other will go a long way to endorse your love lives.
Another year of Golden Globes. Lots of beautiful dresses and elegant women, some young and some well over 40 but looking sensational. There were some wonderful blue and red gowns to make a change from the ubiqueteous black.
Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren are terrific examples of elegance over 60. Julian Fellowes was looking good too being in the 60s bracket also. It is said that the 40′s are the new 30s etc; and here we have living proof of older people going for it and having the time of their lives. Getting older can be a bore but there are lots of plus sides such as being more relaxed, not caring so much what people think and appreciating the finer things in life. Mature singles can find the relationships they want by being open minded and having a look at online dating. Having new adventures is much more fun with a companion.
